Your website's meta data is very important as it helps the search engines define where you should be listed and on most occasions will control the content of your search engine listing (search engines can use content from the page itself and/or your meta content description)
Write individual Meta data for ALL pages. The aim is to have all pages a possible landing page in Google so ALL pages need to be individually optimised and then each to have specific Meta data relating to the page content and the key phrase for that page.
Meta data structure would be:
Meta HTML Page Title:Business Name| Key Phrases, Key Phrase. Keep to about 8-10words (70 characters)
Meta Keywords: key phrases, key phrase, key phrase……. (As many as needed but don’t have hundreds, try choose ones that relate to the page and the overall website. There is no evidence they are being used as part of the algorithm to give your website/webpage a ranking but include them, that may change in the future)
Meta Description: Make a sentence, include your key phrase at least once if not twice. Keep to about 25 words. Include a call to action and benefit.
